What does Acts 14:18–28 reveal about who God the Father is?
God is involved in human affairs; he graciously adds people to his church. God is compassionate; he cares for his people by sending them servants to minister his Word. God is impartial; he gathers Gentiles into his church. God is trustworthy; even in the midst of hardship we can know that he will keep his Word and we will not be separated from his love.
19 But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.
