There are a number of Psalms that connect with the kingdom of God and the blessings to come when God’s king rules (for example, Psalm 2; Psalm 21; Psalm 72; Psalm 110). These songs are all appropriate for singing. Psalm 2 is recommended because it encourages God’s people to kiss the Son
and be reconciled to him before it is too late.
