How many returns will there be?

Matthew 24:30–31 (ESV)

30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

There will only be one public return of Jesus Christ. The same event described in Revelation 19:11–21 is described in Matthew 24:30–31 (see also 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; 1 Thessalonians 5:1–12).
