The gospel of the kingdom parallels the Book of Law in Deuteronomy 28:61, Deuteronomy 29:21, Deuteronomy 30:10, and Deuteronomy 31:26 (also Joshua 1:8; Joshua 8:34) and points to Jesus’ fulfilment of the old covenant.1 The kingdom message to be proclaimed is the good news of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection. This message must be proclaimed to all nations.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
