What does Paul accuse Elymas of doing?

Acts 13:10 (ESV)

10 and said, “You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, full of all deceit and villainy, will you not stop making crooked the straight paths of the Lord?

Paul says that Elymas has attempted to manipulate and distort the guidance of God who is leading various people to faith in Jesus Christ.1 As a result the blind guide will himself be struck blind.2
