The Holy Spirit came visibly, in a similar manner to his coming when the apostles went to Samaria (Acts 8:14–17) as well as at Pentecost (Acts 2:1–4).1 The coming of the Spirit in a visible manner is not an every-day occurrence, but part of the foundational redemptive-historical progress of the gospel from Jew, to Samaritan to Gentile.2
