Acts 10:8 (ESV)

8 and having related everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

It takes the men between six and twelve hours to travel to Joppa, assuming that they spend the night sleeping somewhere en route. Since Joppa was about sixty kilometres to the south of Caesarea and the men arrive the next day at noon (Acts 10:9), it is very likely that they travelled on horseback.1
