How does Ananias know that Saul has come to arrest Christians in Damascus?

Acts 9:14 (ESV)

14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.”

The news of Saul’s arrival would have been communicated throughout the synagogues of Damascus. Since Ananias was well respected by Jews in the city, he would have been informed.
