1. Revelation 22:18 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

To whom does the pronoun “I” refer?

Revelation 22:18 (ESV)

18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,

In line with the words of Revelation 22:12–13 and Revelation 22:16, we should attribute the words of Revelation 22:18–19 to Jesus (as the words of Revelation 22:20a will confirm).
