Deuteronomy 3:13 (ESV)

13 The rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, that is, all the region of Argob, I gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh. (All that portion of Bashan is called the land of Rephaim.

In the distribution of the land to the Transjordanian tribes (east of the Jordan), the half-tribe of Manasseh was given the northern part, which was formerly part of Og's kingdom of Bashan.
