The nature of the approaching wind means that it will bring nothing of benefit to the nation; it will neither winnow nor cleanse. It will not separate the wheat from the chaff. This wind will not discriminate the good from the bad but will engulf both alike.1 The most terrifying thing about this wind, however, is that it comes from me.
It is the Lord who sends this wind. It is the Lord who speaks in judgment upon them.
