1. Matthew 7:14 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

What does Jesus mean when he says that there are only a few who find the small gate and narrow road?

Matthew 7:14 (ESV)

14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Jesus is focusing on the difficulty of entering through the narrow gate and walking along the narrow road, rather than the number of people who find it.1
