What will be given to those who seek?

Matthew 7:7 (ESV)

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

If seeking refers to devoting your life to the purposes of God, then presumably Jesus is promising that God will help the believer to do so. He will strengthen the believer by his Spirit (Luke 11:13), so that he can pursue the good works that God has prepared for those who love him (Ephesians 2:10).
