The communion of saints stretches beyond the local church to include saints from distant communities, cultures, and languages. Saints living under difficult tribulations may and should know that saints around the world pray for them. The implication is that saints everywhere do well to greet
one another before God’s throne in prayer for God’s grace in the trials that be.
