What should the priest do if someone presented an animal with a blemish?
Leviticus 22:20 (ESV)
20You shall not offer anything that has a blemish, for it will not be acceptable for you.
No animal with a blemish was to be offered. The repetition of this command in Leviticus 22:17–21 highlights the serious nature of this instruction. The sanctity of the Tabernacle and the purity of worship was at stake.
