Leviticus 21:17 (ESV)

17 “Speak to Aaron, saying, None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a blemish may approach to offer the bread of his God.

No descendent of Aaron who has a blemish may serve in the temple. The word blemish (mûm) refers to a physical imperfection that resulted from an injury, or simply a birth defect (see Leviticus 21:18–20).
