31“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the LORD your God.
The second group is called mediums. The Hebrew term literally means, familiar spirits. These are diviners who are familiar with the spirits of the deceased. The term is only used in the Old Testament in conjunction with necromancer.
