1. Leviticus 18:22 (ESV)
  2. Exposition

Why does Leviticus not mention lesbianism?

Leviticus 18:22 (ESV)

22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

Lesbianism is not specifically prohibited in the Old Testament, although it may clearly be assumed within this passage. It is, of course, later condemned in the New Testament (Romans 1:26–27).
