The Lord prohibits homosexuality. This is consistent with the prohibitions of sexual conduct elsewhere in Scripture (Romans 1:27; 1 Corinthians 6:9). In Leviticus 20:13, homosexuality is deserving of the death penalty. The seriousness of the activity is highlighted by the word, abomination,
which means to hate.
