Hebrews 2:5 (ESV)

5 For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking.

This refers back to the teaching in chapter 1, but also points ahead to the passage that cites and discusses Psalm 8. The author also has Psalm 95:10 in mind when writing these words.1,2
