What does it mean for the grace of Jesus Christ to be with someone’s spirit?

Galatians 6:18 (ESV)

18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

In the context of a prayer wish, spirit refers to the whole person. 1For the grace of Christ to be with someone’s spirit is, therefore, a wish for God’s grace to be given to/present with a believer.
