19 Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality,

Paul is claiming that sinful and selfish deeds are obvious to see throughout society as a whole. His list of vices will highlight some of the typical sins that were seen in his day (see Romans 1:29–31; Mark 7:21–22).1
