3 I hear censure that insults me, and out of my understanding a spirit answers me.

Zophar can hardly believe Job’s arrogance, that he would accuse his friends of shamelessness (Job 19:3) and warn them against God’s judgment (Job 19:29)! Fortunately, Zophar has the understanding that is necessary to answer such a man as Job.
