Commentary on Job 19:15 (Summary)

Job 19:15 (ESV)

15 The guests in my house and my maidservants count me as a stranger; I have become a foreigner in their eyes.

Job’s isolation can be seen especially in the way he is treated by people who used to live under his own roof. These were people who experienced his hospitality and care. Yet they now regard him as nothing more than a stranger, even a foreigner!
