Commentary on Job 19:11 (Summary)

Job 19:11 (ESV)

11 He has kindled his wrath against me and counts me as his adversary.

We know that God does not view Job as his enemy. He loves Job and he has defended Job against Satan’s accusations, by allowing Satan to test him. Yet Job falls into an error into which many believers fall in times of great suffering. He concludes that God must be angry with him.
