Solomon becomes more powerful over the course of his life. In the eyes of people, he steadily becomes a very great man. The wisdom, for which Solomon is so well known in the world of that time, also remains with him. He is really great and important in the eyes of the people.
9 So I became great and surpassed all who were before me in Jerusalem. Also my wisdom remained with me.
