In Psalm 104:5–9 the author focuses his glance on the earth. The Creator has founded her on a firm foundation, and therefore she cannot be moved from the place God assigned her. This is emphasized in Hebrew with two words, eternally
and forever
(see also 1 Samuel 2:8; Psalm 93:1; Psalm 96:10). This can free us from fear and anxiety.
