Commentary on Ecclesiastes 1:14 (Summary)

Ecclesiastes 1:14 (ESV)

14 I have seen everything that is done under the sun, and behold, all is vanity and a striving after wind.

Solomon now shows that a wisdom that never looks beyond this creation will never lead to true progress. When a person does not look beyond the things “that are done under the sun,” the end result will always be disappointment.
