What does this verse imply regarding Delilah?

Judges 16:8 (ESV)

8 Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven fresh bowstrings that had not been dried, and she bound him with them.

The implication is that Delilah took Samson seriously, and moves swiftly to put his revelation to the test. She does not herself have fresh bowstrings handy, so she must seek them out from her employers, who are only too happy to oblige.1
