What did the woman mean when she said that Saul had cut off the mediums and necromancers from the land?
1 Samuel 28:9 (ESV)
9The woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my life to bring about my death?”
The woman seems to suggest that Saul not only expelled the mediums from the land, but that he killed those who attempted to remain.
