Commentary on Job 17:12 (Summary)

Job 17:12 (ESV)

12 They make night into day: ‘The light,’ they say, ‘is near to the darkness.’

Even though Job is standing with one foot in the grave, his friends continue to promise healing if he would only repent. They speak lightly of his darkness, as if recovery from it were simple and straightforward.
