What does Samson’s naming that place confirm?

Judges 15:17 (ESV)

17 As soon as he had finished speaking, he threw away the jawbone out of his hand. And that place was called Ramath-lehi.

Samson names the place “Ramath-Lehi,” which means “Jawbone Hill.” He is effectively memorializing his achievement by renaming Lehi as he does.
