Where did Samuel meet with Saul?

1 Samuel 15:13 (ESV)

13 And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed be you to the LORD. I have performed the commandment of the LORD.”

Seeing as Saul pleaded with Samuel to return with him (1 Samuel 15:25, 1 Samuel 15:30), it makes most sense to understand that their meeting took place at Carmel.
