Psalm 59:15 (ESV)

15 They wander about for food and growl if they do not get their fill.

The proud adversaries prowl like hungry dogs around David’s house. When will they attack? It is threatening. They want to get something to devour. Hunger is driving them on. And David is the prey. In Psalm 59:1–2 David has already pleaded with God to deliver him.
