How would Eliakim’s path be different from that of Shebna?

Isaiah 22:23 (ESV)

23 And I will fasten him like a peg in a secure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his father’s house.

Eliakim would bring glory to his family, as opposed to Shebna, who brought shame. Those who depended on Eliakim for support would be honoured.
