Why did Shebna bring shame on his master’s house?

Isaiah 22:17–19 (ESV)

17 Behold, the LORD will hurl you away violently, O you strong man. He will seize firm hold on you

Hezekiah was a good king who tried to govern according to God’s will. Shebna, who was entrusted with a position of authority and abused it by placing himself presumptuously above God, cast aspersions on the honour of Hezekiah’s house.
