Commentary on Job 11:11 (Summary)

Job 11:11 (ESV)

11 For he knows worthless men; when he sees iniquity, will he not consider it?

Job had said that God makes no distinction between the guilty and the innocent (Job 9:22; Job 10:15). Zophar now responds that God distinguishes very clearly between those who are innocent and those who are worthless and iniquitous. God’s arrest of Job is proof that Job belongs to the latter group.
