What language is the language of Canaan?

Isaiah 19:18 (ESV)

18 In that day there will be five cities in the land of Egypt that speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD of hosts. One of these will be called the City of Destruction.

The language of Canaan does not refer to Canaanitic as spoken by the early Canaanites, but rather to the language of the Israelites. It is a sign of the true conversion of the inhabitants of these cities.
