How do the symptoms of leukoderma compare to those of the leprous disease?

Leviticus 13:39 (ESV)

39 the priest shall look, and if the spots on the skin of the body are of a dull white, it is leukoderma that has broken out in the skin; he is clean.

In comparison to the previous skin condition, there is no discolouration of hair and no depth to the sore in this instance. Additionally, the infection is “dull white.” In such a case, the person is not impure.
