This verse is set at the conclusion of the ordination ceremony of the priesthood. In particular, it relates to the second sin offering on the eighth day of the ordination ceremony. This was the sin offering made on behalf of the entire congregation of Israel (Leviticus 9:13, Leviticus 9:15).
