Listen in order to do

James 1:19–21 (ESV)

19 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;

Listen in order to do what you are going to hear. It is an obedient hearing. Are you quick to hear in order to do? That is the question you must ask yourself. Are you listening to the Word of God, in order to do what God would have you do?1
