Commentary on Job 9:32 (Summary)

Job 9:32 (ESV)

32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him, that we should come to trial together.

If only God had been a man like Job! Then Job could take him to court, where a judge could judge between them. But now Job is standing up against one who is himself the highest judge, Job’s accuser and Job’s only advocate.
