A person who sows in righteousness will become steadfast. His life will be anchored in righteousness; therefore, it will be firm and not easily toppled over. The consequence of being steadfast in righteousness is a life with purpose. The opposite will happen to a person who is committed to pursuing after evil. Instead of living, they will die.
19 Whoever is steadfast in righteousness will live, but he who pursues evil will die.
