Did Elkanah return to Ramah alone?

1 Samuel 2:11 (ESV)

11 Then Elkanah went home to Ramah. And the boy was ministering to the LORD in the presence of Eli the priest.

No, Elkanah would have returned to Ramah with Hannah (see 1 Samuel 2:19–20). Similar to 1 Samuel 1:28, the context suggests a plural is in view even though only Elkanah is mentioned.
