1For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob and will again choose Israel, and will set them in their own land, and sojourners will join them and will attach themselves to the house of Jacob.
The sojourners are people from other nations who joined the Israelites. They also received a place in the restored kingdom. This can be seen as a prophecy of the inclusion of Gentiles into the kingdom of God.
