12But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ,they were baptized, both men and women.
Philip’s preaching in Samaria is evidently a continuation of Jesus’ ministry and the ministry of the apostles. The apostles were sent by Jesus. And Philip has been equipped by the apostles for the continuation of the preaching of the gospel.
