Commentary on 2 Kings 24:11 (Summary)

2 Kings 24:11 (ESV)

Unlike the event described in 2 Kings 24:2, Nebuchadnezzar himself is now on the campaign. The cause of this campaign is the rebellion of Jehoiachin’s father, mentioned in 2 Kings 24:1b. Nebuchadnezzar himself is now there to witness the capture of the city.
