Commentary on Psalm 140:2 (Summary)

Psalm 140:2 (ESV)

2 who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually.

This verse describes the activities of David’s opponents. We have two short explanatory remarks:

A.      It is possible that the evil plans included the daily search for wars

B.      Continually could also mean each and every day.

In both cases, this verse makes clear that the evil of David’s enemies is deeply rooted.
