Commentary on Job 4:19 (Summary)

Job 4:19 (ESV)

19 how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed like the moth.

The houses of clay refer to our human bodies (Genesis 2:7), which are weak and mortal. Here Eliphaz is confusing frailty with unrighteousness. Being weak is not the same as being wicked.
