Commentary on Job 3:6 (Summary)

Job 3:6 (ESV)

6 That night let thick darkness seize it! Let it not rejoice among the days of the year; let it not come into the number of the months.

Job’s grief takes him back even further into the past, to the night when he was conceived. In retrospect this was a disastrous night, being the start of a life so full of suffering.
